SCORE RESULTS GRID

Self-assessment of Educators in BASET Project

It is assumed that each answer and the points obtained for it are of equal weight in determining the final score. The score ranges from 0 to the maximum of 150 points. Interpretation of the assessment according to the number of points received is as follows:
120 points - 150 points - You are most likely an active entrepreneur, visionary, owner or manager of a company or business organization, who has the abilities, knowledge and ambitions to contribute to solving social or global challenges and problems, or you are an investor, a professional consultant, an owner or a professional manager of a business support organization or professional investor organisation. In theory and in practice you know the laws, models and methods of managing a business. You are well acquainted with the specifics and models of social businesses and you can be a irrefutable mentor, trainer, consultant, coach or social entrepreneur. You should not have specific needs to further develop your knowledge and skills to fulfil this role, but lifelong learning is your credo and philosophy. You will use the SEDM only as an assistant in solving specific problems in identifying social businesses, modelling them, looking for good examples for learning, and offering individual support programmes and training to entrepreneurs who have sought your help.
90 points - 119 points - you are probably either an entrepreneur with some experience in the social business area or with an interest, knowledge and practice in managing business, activities, projects and endeavours or you are an experienced consultant in general business / company management or in particular business areas, including in the social sphere. You have enough knowledge and skills to work with people. You know and have used to a good extent methods and techniques for managing people, tasks and projects that you have participated in, and you will probably be able to be a good social business trainer. It is necessary to complement your knowledge in the field of business modelling and social entrepreneurship and to further develop your skills and knowledge in the field of working with people in a group, sharing knowledge and skills and peer-to-peer mentoring. You will most likely find a need to expand your knowledge of good world and national practices in social entrepreneurship, understand the most important differences in social and classical entrepreneurship, identify the differences between the profiles of the social and classical entrepreneurs. From the content of this model, it would be useful for you to check out the Social Business Model Canvas, the capacity support framework or other business-friendly tools. After identifying your own needs, consider joining some of the standard courses suggested in the Train the Trainers Toolkit.
50 points - 89 points - you have the potential to develop knowledge and skills to consult or train social entrepreneurs in the future, but this is not your mission at the moment. The qualities and knowledge you own are more about your own use than being a mentor, coach and consultant to other entrepreneurs and managers. For you the benefit of the model, incl. the tests in it are to expand your knowledge of social entrepreneurship. Inclusion in one or a series of standard courses applied in the model will be of great benefit to your future development as a social entrepreneur. Whether you have the attitudes and prerequisites to be a social entrepreneur you can find out to some extent by doing the social entrepreneur's test. If the role of a social entrepreneur educator is important to you, we recommend that you use the Train the Trainers Toolkit and review the standard courses offered in it.
0 points - 49 points - You certainly don’t have the vocation and the ambition to become an educator of social entrepreneurs. You would most likely not engage in such an activity, because any efforts made in this direction may not produce the desired results. However, if you have the attitude and prerequisites to be a social entrepreneur, you may find the social entrepreneurs test useful, which is included in the model (see ANNEX 1.).
